In connection with the youth camp held in Hyvinkää, the players were also selected for the World Junior-B Curling Championships to be played in Lohja this December. After a long break, national teams will participate in both the girls' and boys' divisions.
Selected for the girls' team are Lara Sajaniemi, Vilma Granlund, and Elaina Sajaniemi from Hyvinkään Curling, Mysia Olszewska representing Copper Hill Curling from Turku, and Kaisa Koikkalainen from Joensuun Curling.
Meanwhile, the players chosen for the boys' team are Ramses Kallioinen, Leevi Hakala, Matias Lampen, Santeri Jokiharju, and Jussi Pätäri from Hyvinkään Curling.
The coaching staff for the tournament will consist of the duo Paavo Kuosmanen and Bonnie Nilhamn-Kuosmanen. Joining them to soak in the atmosphere is Oliver Kauste.
The championships will take place at Kisakallio in Lohja from December 8th to 20th, 2026, and it is possible to watch the matches on-site free of admission.
