Hyvinkää Curling will introduce a new online service in August, designed to bring all of the club’s key services into one place and make everyday interactions with the hall and the club smoother than before. At the same time, the service reduces manual work for both members and the club’s and hall’s administration.
In the new service, you can book practice sessions, pay for your bookings online, and purchase items such as curling products from the club’s online store. Practice session prices are determined automatically based on the booking time and the member’s status.
Registration for club events and any participation fees can be handled in the new service with just a few clicks. Tasks related to events—such as timing, ice preparation, and café shifts—can also be assigned directly through the service, making event organization and task coordination easier.
The results service for local leagues and tournaments will also move to the new system. Teams can enter their own match results, and any match rescheduling will automatically update lane reservations. Results will continue to be forwarded to Curling.fi to ensure that the history of Finnish curling results remains comprehensive in the future.
All current member information will be transferred automatically from the player profiles in Curling.fi. User accounts for the club’s online service will be created based on the email address stored in the Curling.fi player profile. Membership fees for the upcoming season will also be paid through the new service. We will send detailed instructions for logging in and using the service when it is launched.
