Finland’s hottest curling tournament, Sauna Open, returns for its second edition on 30 October–1 November 2026. Join us for a relaxed competition atmosphere, great company, and of course – a true löyly‑spirited sporting celebration!
The tournament follows the traditional “Any four curlers” principle, meaning team composition is completely open. Bring your friends, family, colleagues – anyone! The most important things are good vibes and the desire to play.
Sauna Open welcomes teams from Finland and around the world. The event offers a perfect opportunity to combine competitive curling with a laid‑back atmosphere – with a Finnish twist. The curling hall’s sauna will be heated throughout the tournament, staying true to the event’s name. It’s the perfect place to watch other games between your own matches.

460 € (incl. VAT) per team of four
Additional players: 50 € (incl. VAT) per person
A maximum of 18 teams can participate. Registration for the tournament is handled through the Finnish Curling Association’s website. Your team’s place is confirmed once the entry fee has been paid via Hyvinkää Curling’s online store.
Registration opens on 16 August 2026 at 12:00 and closes on 27 September 2026 at 23:59. All registrations for Finnish teams are submitted through curling.fi, where you will also find detailed instructions. The same site provides results and statistics during the event.
Registration is already open for teams that were placed on the waiting list for the 2026 Finnish Bonspiel. These teams may register by contacting info@hyvinkaancurling.fi.
You can follow the games from the café area while enjoying refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere.
